I am a University of Rhode Island graduate and received my B.S. in Marine Biology. I was a college athlete, which allowed me the amazing opportunity to work with many students from various different communities within Rhode Island. I also was able to work with children who had special needs right here in Long Island. I offer tutoring in a variety of subjects, such as algebra, statistics, ecology, and geography. However, science is my true passion, especially anything that relates to the field of biology. I try to be a tutor who understands their students, and I strive to explain topics in such a way that is concise and clear. I try to make tutoring sessions as engaging and fun as possible so that the student takes an active role in their own learning. In my past experiences, students respond best to a tutor who can accomplish this, which leads to future success not only in their studies but in their future career choices as well. I believe that all students can achieve academic success, and I hope to see all of my students reach their educational goals. In my free time, I like to read, run, draw, and play the guitar.
